ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW
Ice Cream Cakes
We keep decorations for ice cream cake at minimal and only made with whipped cream.

We do not place fruit garnish on your cake before freezing, as fruit takes longer to thaw than ice cream and will be crunchy when the cake is served. Other toppings, such as melted caramel or fudge can be added before serving for a softer texture.

Ice cream cakes can be quite tricky but it is everyone's favourite!
PLEASE
Take Note.
An ice cream cake is ice cream in the shape of cake with layers of sponge cake in between. A popular form is a three-layer cake, with a layer of ice cream between two layers of cake. Kindly allow about 1-2 weeks notice for ice cream cakes. We do not make fondant customisation on ice cream cakes.
Melting Ice Cream
Some ice cream flavors freeze harder than others. Chocolate, for instance, freezes harder than vanilla. Caramel-flavored ice creams tend to remain soft in comparison to chocolate and vanilla. The duration for your cake to star to melt depends on your flavour of choice.
Thawing
Don’t forget to thaw prior to serving, thaw the cake 30 minutes in the refrigerator or 15 minutes on the counter. This will ensure the cake is at just the right temperature and consistency.

While this is a basic rule of thumb for thawing ice cream cake at room temperature, the actual thawing time depends upon the types of ice cream and other ingredients in your cake as well as the temperature of your freezer.
Cake Cutting
Cut with a long, serrated knife for clean slices. Warm the knife in some hot water, dry off excess water, and dig in!
It can help to re-dip the knife in warm water after every few slices. This will ensure that each slice looks its very best when it’s served.
Remember to keep the cake out of direct sunlight during the party. The last thing you want on this special day is a melted mess!
